sort of reminds me of how bullish everyone was at the beginning of sept...just reversed.

Exactly, Charlie.

I keep thinking many of the "newbie shorts" are about to get burned but I've been thinking that for a month now.

I also remember how long the shorts thought the exuberant longs were going to get burned since about Jan. 00 and it took months before the crash.

Mike

"...just reversed..."

Charlie...
but what irks me is that this was forcast...greenspan and his "irrational exuberance" comment should have had everyone on the edge of their collective seats......we had parabolic tops going into aprils crash which obliterated the second and third tier stocks.....we then had the summer bear market rally prior to this second leg down of the bear which is hammering first tier tech...i really feel for friends and associates who suffered through this but this scenario has offered incredible opportunity; i feel more opportunity than the post '87 crash and the asian crisis......i cant help but think that this incredible bull has made traders , if not lazy, then less less diligent in their trading techniques and practices.....now that i have antagonized most of SI(and i apologize to all that i have), its back to lurking.....ian
