State of Nevada has given a written certification for disposal. (2) The cell phone battery may last longer than the phone. (3) The battery is designed-in as part of the phone circuit board. (4) VLNC Li poly battery has been tested under 4000 feet of sea water and on Boeing's micro satellite. VLNC claims they have the safest battery for large format applications. In other words, the market for large format Li Poly batteries may go to VLNC, based on safety considerations. Dell and Compaq laptop PC's have exploded during recharge cycle.
