e, thanks for the reasoned response. in no uncertain terms - martyring one's children is EVIL! the israeli's have every right to defend themselves. my view is that israel possesses extreme power relative to the palestinians (and, therefore, more responsibility) and ought to use it more judiciously. if they did, some of the rational palestinians would eventually realize that israel values their life. right now, neither side value the other's life. both sides act like it. israel has more power and causes more death. bad mess.
