short-trade appears often, it's always hindsight).
I guess we know don't short because of 'valuation',
short when 'bad news/environment' starting to settle in.

Those are 'long term shorting opportunity', meaning you
may be wrong at the entry point for a day/week, but
eventually your short make money. Kind of the reverse
in a bull markets, you never bought too high.

Looking at PE of Yahoo 92.64, that seems very attractive.
But I would have to wait for "the analsyts" to tell me
the 'Quality of earning/revenue' is good (ggg).

Comparing to CMGI, YHOO is much easier to justify a
purchase. At least it shows 'earning'. I don't know the
'quality of it'.
