Bob could not know in advance what kind of crap we have on hands now. Could anyone invision ? of course not.

But isn't that the WHOLE REASON that market timing doesn't work?

If we KNEW what would happen in the future, then we could invest accordingly with 100% confidence of being right. Then again, everyone else would know and the prices would immediately reflect that knowledge.

Remember, it was an "exogenous event" that caused Bob's "BUY at DJIA 8650" to fail in 1998 when it went to 7450 or so. Now we have $74/$75 QQQ level where he expected a 20% upside to fail by about 10% as of now. (some didn't catch that "recently established low" and were hoping for 20% upside from their "buy immediately point" that was $83.)

. QQQ is a screaming buy right here imo

Depends if you like it for the long term or do you believe Bob that it is ONLY for a counter trend rally which means he expects much lower prices longer term?

IF you are a bull, then it is a screaming buy. IF you are a bear....

Myself, I think it is time to start buying technology again... and i have.
