that's how one would think... except if you want to play God... and to say that the old folks in FL were too frail to punch the chad out is truly laughable... how do we know that these ballots do not simply belong to people who changed their minds... only God, or someone who wants to play God, would know huh...

If memory serves me, about 2% of voters typically do not pick a Presidential candidate while going ahead to vote in other races. Now, perhaps many of those no-votes would count for one candidate or another in selected counties. It ain't right, I don't care who you are for.

107 million americans chose freely None of the Above.

I was one of those who didn't pick a candidate for President. I would have selected "None of the Above" had that choice been on my ballot, but it wasn't. I noticed that the infamous butterfly ballot of Palm Beach did not offer that choice either.

I wonder if there's some reason why that option is not offered. It would be interesting to know. Maybe they're afraid that "None of the Above" would win.
