<<Personally, I like having the toughest SOB on the block for a president.>>

I do too....Yet, all things considered I prefer an honest and ethical President. IMO, Gore & Co. have A LOT of room to improve before I would ever trust them. They speak out of both sides of their mouths--all votes must be considered...hmmm...yet, they only want to re-count in select districts and not pay too much attention to the absentee ballots from the military. That is questionable behavior if I ever saw it. The media should come down hard on the Gore tactics. IMO, if Woodward and Bernstein really did some serious investigating in Florida they might find some 'Watergate-like' material. Just my hunch. These Democrats, their smooth lawyers, and backroom discussions are not all above board. Look at the memo faxed out to all the districts to instruct them on how to minimize the number of absentee ballots from the military that would be counted...Pahleeeese.....(that's sleeze if I ever saw it).

I also would not claim that the Republicans are perfect...but so far they have behaved in a much more unbiased and reasonable way. I prefer to follow the laws on the books and not continue to re-write the rules along the way.

These are just my views.

Lets hope both candidates start thinking about the country rather than winning at ANY cost...;-)

Enjoy the holiday.

Regards,

Scott
