ca << we're going to celebrate Thanksgiving tomorrow differently from the past >> We'll celebrate the same because the value of my portfolio is similar (a tad higher than last year) even though market momentum is most assuredly different. If I haven't gained as much as I'd like, I sure have not lost it. Not every investor can say that and for that I give thanks. << lessons learned here on the Thread about Nothing, and on the Main Thread >> And the G&K index. These lessons are valuable as is the Bear experience. I have better balance in my portfolio and hold 90% gorillas and kings. I have a little potential MoMo in there with some PMCS and JNPR (worth significantly less today than a few weeks back) I feel Mr. Market and the NAZ are coiling like a spring.
