I agree with you about the campus pranksters. Shame on them for their childishness and inability to effectively press their case.

Remarkably, Gov. Bush came out and said that he has won the election as of his comments this morning. This is wrong, and it is inflammatory. This election is in dispute.

Now, how far is Gov. Bush from the campus pranksters? Frankly, it looks like the answer is not far. Remember how this looks to the world. As I've noted here before, Al Gore is viewed by a large number of world leader's as a statesman. This sentiment was expressed by Der Spiegel, the German periodical. OTOH, Der Spiegel labeled George W. Bush a "Daddy's Boy". The Governor's comments today show how true this is.

He should call off his dogs for the sake of civility. I'm afraid he's set a new low tone to this election that is vulgar, indecent and undemocratic. For Bush, the full expression of the intent of the voters simply does not matter. He seeks to win at any price. This is not the way we do things in America.
