Heard they quit because the Hispanic precincts started coming up for Bush.

Just heard on my car radio that fox news reported that a Miami-Dade Hispanic Congresswomen raised hell when after counting the black districts they were not going to recount the Hispanic ones. She claimed that the Hispanic districts voted heavily for Bush.

Dear Ish: Its true the Cubans voted en masse and they all voted for Bush. You cant IMAGIN the disdain they have for the Clinton/Gore administration. Anyhow, I think they saved our bacon this time around so we owe them one (gg).
Palm Beach county judge ruled exactly as I thought he would which in essessence means the local canvassing board will continue to examine ballots as they have. I heard some news organizations get it wrong talking about Dimples and all but they apparently didnt understand his ruling. Basically he said dimples must be considered BUT overall ballot must also be considered in evaluating voter intent. Ie if the only dimple was the Pres. and all others were punched through then it would NOT count as a vote for President. That is how its been done all along and is the way the law appears to read anyhow.
So, I am feeling pretty good on this Thanksgiving Eve, I think its just a matter of waiting till Sunday to have Bush our President elect.
Meanwhile, down here on the front the Republicans are COMING OUT OF THE WOODS. Everywhere you look people are congregating etc. Dole showed up unexpectedly in Broward and was SWARMED by gleeful Republicans. Hard to find a Gore supporter around here anymore, dont know why, maybe its because his "VOTES" were not REALLY serious votes if you get my drift. JDN
