As long as you rely on sources with such a degree of reliability as the article you posted, it's no wonder you come to the conclusions you post here.

First and foremost, someone posted on this thread and alerting me to the article; otherwise I would not have known of the article. Mother Jones is not my typical source of news. However I do not believe the article was a fabrication. And I am sure there are leads for the story in the more typical news media like the WSJ or the NY Times. If I have time this weekend, I will do a search.

As for my conclusions, the article did not form them but rather reaffirmed them. There is a lot of info in the main stream media that you choose to discount that hardly portray Mr. Bush as a great leader and raise questions re his past behavior. And he has shown with his behavior during this election recount that his actions do not follow his words.

BTW Cheney had heart surgery this AM....one of his arteries has narrowed over time and they inserted something into it to open it up....I am not sure what that something was.
