I think it is honest. It indicates he sought the opinions of his attorneys and did not just demand it.

Hi Ray,

I think your analysis is correct that Bush is receiving "suggestions" from advisors. I view this as good. If he does become our fearless leader, I hope he doesn't try to make all his own decisions. My personal view is that that is how all the best leaders operate. Just a little different view.

Not as long as they are OUR shadowy apparatchiks. The prospect of seeing Reno, Shalala, etc. run out of town, and a president reversing all of William The Bastard's executive orders is enough to assure some sort of restoration, even if the Senate lets Daschle pee on the rug a little too often...
