John,

Sorry to hear about your friend. That is most terrible. No worry here, I have losses, but also lots of profit from the last 7 years to offset. STILL I DON'T LIKE IT, and I, like many I am certain, have lost some real value the last two weeks.

Hope you are doing better than me, and I hope this market finds a reason to reverse soon...so I can get long again.

Its quite funny to me about your friend and not knowing which way to go with her vote. I am perplexed by such a situation. I have looked for a reason to support Gore, and besides pro-choice I can't find one that is valid. What does he stand for? I ask people all the time why they voted for Gore. I hear, he is not Bush, I'm pro-choice, some dribble about health care (yea right), I care about the trees and forest creatures man. Most don't really have a reason, but they are always specific issues.

I am a Republican because I believe the core value that our party stands for. I won't bore everyone, and besides we Republicans know what they are. We don't want people like William Daley in our party. I only disagree with the party on certain specific grounds. I, and there are a lot more like me everyday, am for a new direction in the party. I think I will save this for another day.

HAGO and good luck

TH
