Re: "That may not always be a part of the Republican Party." When the Republican Party returns to honesty and integrity in its leadership, I will give the GOP a new look. In the meantime, as long as the Republicans entrust power to the likes of Livingston, Lott, Barr, Gingrich, Dan Burton, DeLay, Armey ... I will continue to proudly declare my affiliation as a card-carrying Democrat. If the best the GOP can do is proffer up a couple of drunk drivers as the choice for president and VP, it's a sad day for America. If the GOP continues to pretend that the Stars and Bars is a symbol of Robert E. Lee's gallantry and not a symbol of ongoing racism, then I will vote Democrat long and often.
