Dear cheryl: I suppose Gore feels he MUST have gotten more votes cause he knows what great lengths his minions went to get them. What he seems to have forgotten is that we have a LARGE Cuban community and while Miami is known for it fact is its spread all over Fla. up to Orlando and Tampa. Agriculture is also our second largest industry outside of tourism. Finally you got several very large military bases and people who dont even live here but claim Fla. as their residence as we have no income tax. Add it all up and it counterbalances all those frail old people he bussed out of the condos for a donut and the minorities he went into and pulled out to vote. In fact, if the military ballots that SHOULD have been voted (even if the ones they are arguing about get voted it is a small number of the REAL ones missing) it would have been a much different picture here for Bush I think. I believe thats why Bush was so confident but I am a little angry at him for not campaigning down here more. Bet he learned his lesson. (gg) JDN

...Gore lost the election count.

Perhaps you didn't notice, Cheryl. They're still counting
Florida. The other 49 states have Gore the winner by
popular and electoral count. Did you not know this?

If they do a quick recount they get the computer tabulated
(up-to-date) precincts, which (surprise) are primarily
Republican. The tediious hand counting and dimpled dumpling
ballots are from the Demcocrat precincts.

So, let me get this straight. You're saying 'Okay, Bush is
ahead, why does that Gore bastard want them to keep
counting instead of conceding like a 'man'?' ? :)
