Tench, Re: That's a paper launch in my book, and it's no different than the paper launch that AMDroids accused Intel of when the 1 GHz Pentium III was released.

Of course it was a paper launch. I think I was one of the first "droids" to admit that. But I still like seeing 1.2 GHz Athlons in retail -- even with "crippled" PC100 SDRAM. The early DDR paper release was only a (very successful) attempt to steal some of the P4 PR buzz.
