Cantwell leads Gorton by 2100 votes with 2 hours left to count. This is certainly good news for Democrats in the State of WA. The King is Dead! Long live the Queen! There will be a 50/50 split in the Senate. In 2002, the Republicans have 5 more seats up than the Democrats. If Gore won't be President, this is a great consolation prize.

Ish~ you could have sent the leftovers to the exhausted spin doctors who have relentlessly pounded the media with their view of what should be done, what matters, who won the polls are showing Americans think it is time to be over that Gore should give it up and concede and we all move forward it has been interesting and I'm sure all aspects of the voting process will be re-evaluated in the end, positives will come out of this entire process we have gone through how bad can that be? foxy :)
