Flap i realize you see the problem and want to help but it is also a problem that your liberal friends help to create. Look no liberal like Barbara Streisand or ALex Baldwin would live in a community that allows this to go on. Hell why are we allowing it to go on ? Why are we allowing violence to go on in this country that makes our American cities worse than living in the middle east. I'll tell you what if I were in charge the first thing I would do is make sure that those kids had safe streets. There would be no American city that was run by drug lords. No programs can work if children are faced by a violent and hopeless situation. You are also correct in saying that Conservatives need to be more willing to help . But help needs to be asked for not demanded of and when given it deserves a thank you

I read a newspaper columnist yesterday who reported that 70% of all black children are born out of wedlock. Think on that for a minute. A kid born to a crack-addicted mother, who never knows his father, who never has a good male role model ... What a blatant racist comment. By your statement and logic, you are stating 7 out of 10 black babies have a mother that smokes crack and sleeps with a man she doesn't care about so that the children never have a chance to see him as a father. The facts are that more and more adults, of all races don't see marriage as a necessity. This is probably closer to the reason than your racist thoughts.
