You make a good point and since I follow some of the Energy Trusts, here are some reasonably up to date figures .....

NAME PRICE DIST %/M %/Y REG D PAY D
AET.un $11.45 $0.17 1.485 17.817 30 15
EIF $4.40 $0.06 1.364 16.364 10 20
ERF.G $22.30 $0.75 3.363 40.359 10 20
NCF.UN $6.00 $0.12 2.000 24.000 18 31
PGF.UN $18.95 $0.37 1.953 23.430 29 15
VKR.UN $8.55 $0.21 2.456 29.474 30 16
PWI.UN $8.85 $0.20 2.260 27.119 30 13

These figures are in Canadian Dollars and the Dist column is the amount being paid this month, which fluctuates a bit based on earnings. Because they pay out a dist each month the regisration and pay out dates are also given. Interestingly two of them have recently listed on US Exchanges....NCF.UN is on the Amex as NCN, and ERF.G is on NY as ERF.

I have positions in three of these and have no interest in selling at this time. Posted as a follow up to the previous post as a matter of interest only without prejudice or recommendation.
