Not true. I saw the press conference with the MD's handling Cheney. They reported everything was positive and the enzymes were OK. They said he had no problems and would be able to function normally. They later discovered the problem after a second test or another test of some kind. Initially, they reported all was A-OK.

OK, so what time did Bush make his statement? There were initially a number of reports from several that minimized the seriousness of the situation.

And if Gore did this, it would be a lie. :-)
