<<Bush did not lie>>

Lie #1: They drew the CPK isoenzyme blood test upon admission to the hospital and every eight hours thereafter. It takes about six hours after the heart attack for the muscle enzymes to be released into the blood stream after the damage occurs. Doctors compare the second test to the baseline: the difference means a lot. When a patient has chest pain that is compatible with a myocardial infarction, doctors tell the family "The EKG looks OK, but we have to wait for the blood test results to know whether or not you had a heart attack". We don't lie and tell them they are healthy. Even prior to needing an angioplasty, it is a lie to call somebody admitted with chest pain who might have had an myocardial infarction "healthy".

Lie #2: Health people do not need coronary angioplasties.
<<"Dick Cheney is healthy. He did not have a heart attack," Bush told reporters in Texas even while his running mate was undergoing surgery, which the Republican presidential nominee did not mention.>>

Lie #3: Doctors knew by noon that Cheney had suffered a heart attack but did not disclose it at their first news conference at 2:30 p.m. EST. They waited until a second news conference more than two hours later to disclose Cheney's true condition.

Do you really believe that the doctors were not ordered to conceal the truth by the Bush team? And no, I did not watch any of this on TV. My informational sources were linked in my first email. I guess it is not so unexpected. Bush was just acting presidential.
