TSO, I hope you don't group me with "Al" who certainly has more than killed the wealth effect Greenspan and "Al" who has more than killed the stock mkt. Gore. If I were elected president as an "Al" I would abolish the media, judges, sleazeball lawyers, and politicians. My platform would be: be kind to all creatures great and small, be good to little children and elders, and do everything possible to aid the SMALL INVESTOR in his inalienable right to make money in the mkt. We are now in total irrational depression. Throw the baby out with the bath water. My mother got a margin call Mon. for $21,000 I would hate to think what happened to her after the NAZ being -116 on Wed.!!!! Good thing she lives in SD, @ least when she is living in a cardboard box on the street she won't freeze to death but both the AG'S will be happy. After all she owns horrible stocks like AOL, ATML, GE, NOK, NSM, NT, ORCL, and VIA.B. I know that these are not the best stocks on the planet but after 11 weeks of down you get margin calls when you used margin to buy part of your positions. Sorry to hear you are dying, but at least your not getting margin calls. Let's see 94% of nothing = ? Is this a trick question? Watch the buffoons take this to the US Supreme Court, then the market will really be toast. There is one hope :-). Keep repeating the mantra "Thanksgiving belongs to the bears, Christmas belongs to the bulls". Maybe if everyone on SI says it long enough and often enough we can get a rally before we reach 100% of 0 with a margin call to boot!!!!!! "Al" the good guy hoping for an early Christmas BOUNCE
