Probably about as much as Illinois law has to do with Florida law. You would be a "States rights" kinda guy, right? Like no state is allowed to look at any other state's laws? Like to get a clue about the answer to a sticky problem? That's what the FL supreme court did. All states do it. As for chapter and verse, references to this law have been all over the news the past few days. Find it yourself. But you probably won't find references on newsmax or fox, the all-Bush-all-the-time channels. But you might find references to the Demo guy in FL who filed the suit to get the chads counted. Seems he felt just the opposite in 96 when he was working for a guy who won by a slim margin in a contested election. What I'm saying is, being hardcore one way or the other right now just plays right into the Republicrats game. They have been trying to get us to think it's Black versus White for the longest time, while they've both been secretly hiding the real rainbow of IDEAS from us all as best they can. They don't want to be pushed to give us principles instead of bullshit, they are both hopelessly addicted to corporate money, they both seek the center(of what!), they are stuck on focus groups and polls and it's all marketing to the "target" voters, presumably forgetting the rest of us who might actually have any brains. They both fear the left and the right because if confronted by either they might have to actually defend themselves. What is happening in Florida is the ugly baby that both parties have been gestating together for 15-20 years. And they both act surprised?? at each others behavior? Give us a break!!
