Hi Greg,

No rocket science here...I have no new insights, but here are my thoughts...

I completed my finance MBA in 1979...we're going back to 1979 measurements of quality...PE<20 with matching Y-o-Y earnings will get you Warren-Buffett rich in 30 years.

This election has proven that this nation is not united...will not protect it's friends, economically, militarily, or politically. Europe, Asia and soon, South America are seeing that sending money here is no more prudent than keeping it at home under the mattress. The bloom is fast coming off the rose regarding our attraction of foreign capital.

At home, we see that the emperor has no clothes...that these dot com bombs are black holes...the second and third tier infrastructure companies that were supported by the internet dream are now imploding...with the exception of supply, logistics and manufacturing, the internet potential has been defined and it no longer holds magical mystical powers...people want profits, not promises.

All these uncertanties are coming to roost at the same time and there is no strength anywhere to lean on. The latest round of court action will do nothing to heal any of this. I see no firming of confidence in any quarter until the country gets over the current Hatfield-McCoy feud and the new government is in place and proven...when will that be? I don't know. All this is just MVHO...

I just hope that this nonsense does not continue...I'm getting concerned about my Q, AND my country......jj

Often when things are going bad you can find and example of something worse which helps you to feel that thankful.

This past year I have picked my share of losing stocks.
It has hurt.

However, I think I just found something that makes me feel better about my stock picking ability.

Subject 37451

Have a great day everyone!
