Actually without the judicial branch Ms Harris and the state of Florida wouldn't be much different to Commisar Harris and the Soviet Republic.

A state appeals court turned down a bid by Democrats to force the board and vote counters to resume the the recount and meet a Sunday deadline for completing it. In a four-page ruling, the three-judge panel wrote that the canvassing board had determined it couldn't meet the deadline and the court couldn't compel it to try and complete an impossible task.
