Won't happen because states control voting regulations. The state supreme court has judicated and that's the new standard. Accept it or not, that's what supreme courts do. The US supreme court will not interfere as so many experts have announced. C'est la vie!

Re Supreme Court: Bush's petition has fallen into the hands of Kennedy. Kennedy has the option to either take the case or reject it or to call the other justices in to help decide. I believe Kennedy was put in by George Bush Sr. Anyone have any info on this? Kennedy is a moderate as far as I know. Is he prone to take the case or reject it? I think if the SC takes this, Scalia, Thomas and Renquist will vote in favor of the way the law really is. Probably O'Connor also. We need five though. I'm sure Souter and Ginsburg will vote the opposite. Any ideas on how this pans out? Seven of the nine were Republican appointees, but that doesn't necessarily mean they aren't liberal thinkers. Harry Blackmun was one of the worst ever and he was put in by Nixon.
