Ted: Here's a good question for you. The Repubs on this board say Clinton had nothing to do with the amazing economic boom of the past six years. The Repubs say Greenspan/GOP Congress deserve the credit, and Clinton was just along for the ride.

All right. So what's happening now with the market? We've taken a big nosedive the past two weeks, and the experts say it's because of uncertainty over who will become our next president ... and uncertainty over how these big constitutional questions involving the presidency and the "will of the people" will be resolved.

In view of this, I think all Repubs should take another look at the "Clinton factor" in regards to the economic boom times of the '90s. Yes, Clinton has his faults, but he gave us the foundation for all these marvelous economic things to occur.

In other words, it's kind of hard to argue against this strong presidency theory in view of how the market has tanked the past two weeks.
