I hope we are ready to return to the right center. I don't think socialism really works for the good of all. It creates weaker citizens who have lower self esteem, less productivity, and a greater dependency of government for their needs. I much prefer the private sector being the movers and shakers with government providing the common needed services (military, etc.) but not trying to micromanage beyond that. The private sector always does a better job.
