Phrases like "the common working man" are, IMO, blatant reverse elitism. A class warfare thing. The Soviets celebrated "workers" and the Chicoms, "peasants" for decades while the leadership partied on behind closed doors.

Unions are often a power vehicle for those who control them. Nothing more, nothing less.

ONE government is enough (often more than enough). I don't want no stinking extra "governments" (pick your favorite Democrat group into deliver and demand).

While I know there are fine people who are union members (and you may be one of them), I stand by my earlier statements.
