Alan G also was reappointed by Clinton. If the situation had been reversed, would the Repubs have kept a Fed Hed appointed by a Dem, or would they have appointed someone else simply on the basis of partisan politics? The Repubs are most spiteful these days. Full of piss and vinegar. Like I said, the Dems are smart enough to do nothng to keep a good thing going. MSFT was broken up to keep the spirit of competition alive and well in America. I am for giving the small-businessman a break vs. the Standard Oils and Microsofts of the world.
