Flap,
Right out of high school I went to work for Coors Container.
of Golden, Colorado. (They make beer cans for Coors brewery)
At the time, the AFL/CIO was trying to unionize Coors.
As an ignorant young high school graduate I didn't know much about unions, but I didn't think I wanted to join one.
I was foolish enough to say so in public. I was beaten
sensless in the parking lot for my ignorance. You can talk
about alleged organized-labor abuse all you want. I've still got the scars. (and Coors is still a nonunion plant)

As far as I know, BMWs, Toyotas and the like are not made with buck a day labor.
