Not only that, but there are a fair number of conservative Republicans over here on the Left Coast. Remember which state Reagan was from?

That's true. Has been for years. Trick is, we generate them faster than they leave. I'm not sure how many more people they can stuff into Silicon Valley, but I'm sure they intend to find out.

In spite of the high costs, the worker shortages, etc., etc., there still remain enormous advantages for both companies and workers to be here.

For now. At some point it will end. But this valley has already outlived many of its prophets (profits?) of doom.
