Hi Bosco. What is the difference between demonstrations orchestrated by GOP or ones orchestrated by the democrats (i.e. Jackson et al)? What would a spontaneous one look like? Me with a picket sign? LOL I note that the US SC has decided to take the case. I guess they decided not to listen to my advice. <G> My understanding is that they will hear two issues, which I would summarize as "Did the FSC usurp the power of the legislative branch?" and "Did the FSC usurp the power of the Executive Branch?". I can't see how they didn't, as I have said earlier, but I think the US SC should have left the matter alone. I was afraid that the nature of the decision would be too tempting for the US SC to let stand, and apparently it was. The outrageousness of a court declaring that their purpose was to ascertain the will of the people was just too tempting I guess. In any case the US SC case is irrelevant. As I have repeatedly said, there is nothing good that can come of it, except perhaps preventing bad precedent from becoming law. The "people" will think they are prejudiced hacks, I presume, and the authority of the court will be harmed. Worse, by the time the case is decided, it will be moot. Harris will certify the election on Sunday night or Monday morning, and then there the next round of post-certification legal maneuvers (i.e. election challenges) will begin. I presume that if the FSC case gets overruled and Harris ignores the Palm Beach recount results that there will be an election contest, and what doesn't come in the front door will then come in the back door with the exact same result. So why should the US SC get into the mud? As I said, the FSC ruling was pretty outrageous, and I suspect they just couldn't resist. Too bad... Carl
