For two weeks, Vice President Al Gore has portrayed himself as a man struggling to be declared the victor in an election he believes he won. The Republicans have portrayed it that way. And have trotted out their party members and supporters to project that in the media. It could easily and equally be said that Bush has portrayed himself as a man grasping and grappling for an ever-so-close win, at the expense of not having all votes counted. Message 14873116
