Sir and Dave...

Began looking at (again) at ETYS a couple of weeks ago. Day after day of price deterioration. I grant there is a good risk that this company won't survive; but toys are a better niche than - oh, health info (Dr Koop), garden stuff; and.....(all those other dotcoms that have imploded/are going down).

On the other hand, (1) they've invested in distribution capability compared to their status last year, (2) they have a good product mix (3) their advertising is dynamite, and (4) this going to the mall crap is not any fun - which is continuing to drive people to a click world.

So, on Thursday after doing all the due diligence one would want to do, I decided I was going to throw a few $ into the pot. To your point: There comes a time when the price is so compelling that you just gotta do what you gotta do.

The surprise was price at the open yesterday. Looked for a pattern. Thought I saw that price seemed that it would hold. Punched in at a shade under 1 3/4.

Last trade after hours on Island: $2.03.

Whether or not I'm going to stay here depends - altogether - on price action in the next week.
