I didn't mean to bring in a red herring with the blue-haired ladies. I was addressing this kind of language, and I quote you. Those of you sitting on the fence, conservatives and liberal alike, surely have a relative or friend who is serving, or has served, in the military. You know the sacrifices they make... In fact, oftentimes being called upon to make the ultimate sacrifice. The servicemen deserve to have their votes counted because they are citizens of the United States. Whether or not they make any sacrifices for us is totally irrelevant to their right to vote and to have their votes counted. All that flag waving is excessive and, IMO, intended to provoke. All of us should be equally distressed regardless of who is being disenfranchised. That's the American way. Karen
