Rruff: I took today off, so I wasn't tracking MCOM all that carefully. But even so, from what I can tell looking at the intra-day chart MCOM is somewhat back to suffering the old pattern. That is...buying is nothing to write home about (I'll bet a goodly percentage of today was short covering), and selling, when it occurred, once again seems to come in a "clump-like" fashion. With the clumps being ~100/150K shares worth. And it happens in the usual "hit the bid on the down tick 1x1, 1x5, 1x10" style. Indeed, the final 45 minutes or so saw the usual end of day yank-down.

What does all this mean? Only that I wouldn't go out too far on a long limb, because market forces appear to still be playing this equity for all they're worth. And this is not surprising, really, when you consider how much further MCOM has to go (earnings, etc.) before it can prove itself to the greater market. So until then....well....playing it intra-day seems a sound policy to me. ;-) Uhhhh....excepting I will continue to build a long term speculative position in this equity when/if it breaks down below $9....

Now back to the.....*burp*....post Thanksgiving leavenings....
