Following are key events taking place and upcoming in the process: TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Florida elections division set to certify result of the Nov. 7 election after deadline for receipt of results from hand recounts of votes at 5 p.m. (2200 GMT) on Sunday. After a machine recount of the state's six million votes cast, Republican George W. Bush led Democrat Al Gore by just 930 votes. Gore's campaign, rejected in its petition to the Florida Supreme Court to get Miami-Dade County to restart its suspended hand recount of its nearly 700,000 votes, has already said it will contest the result from Miami-Dade. WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Palm Beach County election panel continues to complete manual recount of the county's 460,000 presidential ballots, focusing from Friday morning on 6,000 ambiguous or disputed ballots. The three-member board started its work at about 10 a.m. (1500 GMT). FORT LAUDERDALE - Broward County election panel continues reviewing up to 2,000 ambiguous ballots -- where a machine did not earlier pick up a result -- and plans to do so at least until late on Saturday. As of early Friday, unofficial results from Broward's manual recount of its 588,000 votes cast showed a net gain of some 245 votes for Gore. WASHINGTON D.C. - U.S. Supreme Court considers whether or not to hear an appeal from Bush's campaign challenging last Tuesday's Florida Supreme Court decision for hand recount results from three Florida counties to continue and to be added to the state's vote total.
