I had my first heart attack (very, very minor) and who knows when. And yes, I had a similar operation and two days later I was climbing a ladder and trimming trees. Medicine can be wonderful these days. Don't let your ignorance shine so brightly. Techie

I won't waste time here, you have no way to back up this statement, and if you didn't have a brain injury you would see how stupid it looks. Yea, ya know I thought the same thing about Gore. That Lieberman would really be calling the shots. I mean Al has been VP for so long that he would have had a tough time really stepping up to the new tasks before him. Pardon me, but this is the VICE President you're talking about. You know, the guy with the job that's "not worth a bucket of warm spit". Do you understand that it is fairly simple to replace a veep? Much simpler, say, that getting a piece of socialist Great Society legislation through this congress will be. And should the Prexy die and then the veep die, there is still a line of succession. Believe it or not, the republic wll survive. Oh, and if the people of his home state are happy with Strom Thurmond, is it your right to toss him out of the congress and disenfranchise them? Don't you think maybe this is a little presumputious of you? Oh, and do you remember that Strom used to be a Democrat? And about those heart attacks: I've had two. In both cases I was out of the hospital in 3 days and back to normal activities in a week and a half. This isn't fifty years ao. There've been some improvements in medicine. I'm really cheered that you're so concerned about Cheney's health, though. :-)
