<<Westerners suck at stewardship of the land- they overgraze their own land and government land, they create huge toxic tailing piles- which over a hundred years later are still a huge problem, they rolled over and eliminated every culture between them and the coast in the Westward expansion- a particular favorite of mine is the shooting for sport of the California coastal Indians. They cross fenced the land and disrupted the migration of the buffalo.

I could just go on and on about the "noble" Westerners, but why bother? >>

You could at least "bother" to be fair & balanced, you act as though ALL westerners did all these things, but we know that is beyond all hope.

btw Can you explain to anyone the logic of why stock producers would "overgraze their own land"? Overgrazing one year reduces production & profit the next. All business-people seek sustained profits. Ranchers are first & last business people.

I guess you think the government is a better steward of the land after they wasted moneys legistated for fire prevention resulting in the worst fire season in history!

While you "bother" a chance at fair & balanced, why not go find out the number of US citizens killed by native Americans.
