I would agree that what little mandate Gore thought he had in this 300k plurality..he has squandered a lot of political capital with the Boies assault (sounds like a Ludlum novel)...this reminds me of Clintons "gays in the military" which cost him much political capital during the first mos of his administration

Gore dug his grave. He is just not willing to accept that his "destiny" is about to go unfulfilled...for his entire life. I don't think he will be back in 2004.
will he be into grass, quaaludes, or what?

Yes, Gore has mobilized the Republican Party, but I do fear he and his machine will find enough votes for him to take the White House. So, hopefully, voters will ignore anyone running on the Democratic ticket in future elections (it was the last minute "leak" of Bush's 24 year old DUI conviction which made me vote for George Allen, Rep, instead of Chuck Robb, Dem, for Senator from Virginia....and I remember George Allen as Governor from Virginia....I REALLY didn't want to vote for him, but I had a bad feeling about the Democrats after the "leaking" of the 24 year old DUI conviction).
