<ot>Hi Sabre! -I don't the answer to your question, "Now,...where does this end?" But I do believe we will end up with a new President comes January. I believe we Americans will pull together in times of crisis. I believe we Americans will continue to hold diverse viewpoints but I am hopeful the dialog amongst us will be more civil when sanity returns. And some sort of reform will come about. I don't know the outcome, much less the dimple situation. As you ve added in your subsequent post, the US SC is weighting in on the FL SC extension decision. This should be a welcome sign for us all, since whatever the outcome, it is going to set a decision. Given the recent SC decisions, it may be a split decision, but it will likely to be narrow, but a precedent nonetheless.

I think we Americans should understand that going to court is not so bad, when some Asian or Latin American countries would slaughter tens of thousands for a lesser conflict. However, I actually feel uneasy busload of demonstrators were sent to hot zones for *spontaneous protests*. This reminds me of the Iranian campaign back in the 50s when CIA orchestrated a mass protest to overthrow a democratic govt and return the Shah to power.

Hopefully, after all said and done, the career politicians who got drafted into this situation can rebuild their broken reputation. I think that is the real tragedy, after all, no matter how low the public may see them, at one point or another, they sacrifice a lot to be the public servant.

best, Bosco
