These days, "saved" equates to making money, glad I was helpful. As for my index shorts, I closed them out for many reasons, the most important being they achieved my profit target, I am not greedy in this market environment, 2nd reason is the day after Thanksgiving is usually an up day on light volume, VIX was quiet, and the prices on calls were moving up in unison Wed, so I figured the big boys were at work, and I never step in front of that train....I retrospect, I should have bought some calls, right after closing out the puts, mainly in the NDX, on Wed, but I fell asleep at the switch...thus missing the hat trick. That was a momentary lack of reason on my part, and I paid the price by watching the index spike up 6+%.... I can't even guess what Monday will bring. But it will be fun, whatever hand fate deals up..
