I wouldn't look to much at the Rally today-------all on light volume,,,,,,,,,which means the Daytraders were in control, not the institutions. And this market will not turn around until they show up.

But,take it where you can get it,at least we had a nice day today, for once.

pretty obvious we have two scenarios for monday
#1 bush wins recount, secy harris declares bush president,
we have quick 200-300 point jump in naz before we get back to normal earnings warnings and fed watch, max upside 3200-3400 before fed meeting, downside probably back to 3000 area if we get wrong earnings warnings, if bush is declared winner sunday, game is over, gore will get killed by public opinion if he pushes any farther, and he can contest all he wants, game is over

#2 gore harvests enough votes to pass bush's lead, statistically unlikely, but humanly possible, if this happens, bush will appeal to supreme court to have hand recount thrown out, we are held hostage till dec 1st and 2500 here we come on naz

#1 is most preferred and most likely to happen, good news is we will know sunday night, but overall momentum is shifting to bush and hopefully hand recount does not change results of 1st two counts (and msft was over 70 in after hours friday)
at this point my odds are 75% in favor of scenario #1, but who knows in this "stranger than fiction" fiasco
