Lieberman probably was arranging for charter buses for Jackson's protest. They're trying now to quell the protests in Broward and Palm Beach, but I don't think it's going to work.

CNN's reporter outside Gore's house was almost drowned out by the chants of protesters a few minutes ago. Nationwide rallies and protests tomorrow.

Karnac the Magnificent continues his divining act inside Broward and P.B. County re-classification headquarters. Bob Dole on now, says he was just up there and "What occurred to me is that they're not counting votes, they're CASTING votes."

Six Democrat congressmen have asked Justice Dept. (Reno) to investigate Republican intimidation of canvassing boards, particularly Miami-Dade. Dole says, "Let 'em write letters. Maybe somebody will even read them." Something about First Amendment Rights.

Occurs to me that if anybody was guilty of intimidation, it was the Gore/Daley machine who threatened to sue Miami-Dade when it first decided a re-count wasn't called for, causing its first reversal. Duhhh. Or maybe Jesse Jackson, who intimidated P.B. County into calling its ballots into question in the first place.
