The Boston Tea Party probably made us look like a Banana Republic, too, although at that time it would have been a compliment. Did the Civil Rights demonstrations of the '60's make us look like a Banana Republic? How about the Vietnam War demonstrations? FL Democrat hack U.S. Rep. Deutsch now complaining about "paid, out of state demonstrators" forcing Miami-Dade to end the "re-count." Says the Republicans are violating federal laws. Funny, he didn't mention anything about Democrats in other states who rounded up people in buses, and paid them with cigarettes to cast pre-filled out Gore ballots.
