Unless I have misunderstood every word that has been uttered since it was announced that the US Supreme Court would indeed hear this case, then you are wrong. That is exactly what they will be looking at. It is a very limited in scope and bears directly on the actions of the Florida Supreme court and their interference in the right of the Florida Legislature to decide the manner in which the state's electors are selected.

It is separation of powers, and that is EXACTLY what they will be looking at.
