I used to work as an auditor for my state and I had to go local health departments and I was overwhelmed by what I saw there: young women with three, four, five kids by different fathers. I couldn't understand it. But they (the young women) knew that having kids brought in more money and benefits. I don't think it's the government (and all the benefits it gives out) that will stop their downward cycle...it's going to take people outside of the government who really care. Congratulations to you for making a difference in someone's life.
