With the Supreme Court of the U.S. next week

Assuming that the U.S. Supreme Court is an acceptable "controlling legal authority" to the more rabid democratic partisans, then the court's apparent willingness to expedite a decision perhaps (let us hope) allows us to see the "beginning of the end" of this nightmare version of what scenario writers would refer to as "an exogenous political event". Could be wrong, but I suspect the court's "willingness to expedite a decision" may (given the people involved - only may) be the start of an unrelenting pressure to concede bearing down on the Gore team.

public opinion is shaped by the stature of men like Dole,
and their emotional displays
perhaps more than their words

Jesse Jackson stature and emotion backfired
James Baker stature and emotion fortified
Warren Christopher lack of stature and lack of emotion hurt
Bob Dole stature and emotion fortified
near total lack of Democrats of high stature in this morass

the Democrat battlecry "the will of the people" is being finally unmasked as...
"by any means"
the military absentee disqualifies all claims of Democrat battlecry
