Dale, not to belabor this, but a 50% gain in bandwidth over what? Maybe over the 266 DDR Athlon, but the gain from going from the 133 mhz PIII bus to the 400 mhz P4 bus must be better than 50%.

I haven't looked at the linpack stuff in detail, but the graph was pretty dramatic. It seemed like the only example where the P4 looked good in an application that might actually mean something.
